Relief efforts are underway in Puerto Rico and Mexico, but there are vast resources still needed and much work to be done. In an effort to support the people of the region, Milwaukee Film, in conjunction with its Cine Sin Fronteras film program, will donate the proceeds from screenings of El Sueño del Mara’akame, Extra Terrestres, and You’re Killing Me Susana (Me Está Matando Susana) to relief efforts.

Proceeds will be divided between the Hurricane Maria Community Recovery Fund and Diego Luna’s and Gabriel García Bernal’s Mexico relief effort in conjunction with Ambulante and Omaze. Additionally, donations will be accepted at all future screenings of Cine Sin Fronteras films, as well as on our website at http://mkefilm.org/donate (use “RELIEF” in the special instructions field). Milwaukee Film believes in the power of cinema to bring people together, and when we’re together, we can achieve anything. Help us support those struck hardest by these unimaginable catastrophes and see great cinema from those regions while doing it.
