Affordable, juried show features a variety of original art
The show features over 200 local and national artists.
MILWAUKEE (Sept. 5, 2017) – The 2017 Starving Artists’ Show will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, September 10 on Mount Mary University’s west lawn.
The show features over 200 local and national artists specializing in ceramics, fiber art, glass work, jewelry, painting, sculpture and more. All artwork is original and priced for $100 or less.
The show, now in its 48th year, is sponsored by the Mount Mary University Alumnae Association. All artists are juried by a committee of passionate Mount Mary University alumnae.
“We try to incorporate new artists every year and to offer a wide variety of art media to keep the show fresh and exciting,” said Aleisha Rice ‘09, Starving Artists’ Show general chair and Mount Mary alumna. “So bring your family and friends and discover something new and unique at the Starving Artists’ Show.”
