By - Dec 12th, 2012 04:49 pm

JeTaunne Richardson, Community Programs & Grant Manager for Milwaukee County, was awarded the Child Support Management Employee of the Year award during the fall training conference held at the Chula Vista in Wisconsin Dells, WI. Each year the organization honors a management level employee for their contributions to the goals of the program and their dedication to Wisconsin families. On 10/11/12, a plaque was presented to JeTaunne by Association President Brad Logsdon.

JeTaunne has served the child support program in Milwaukee County in a number of different positions. She came to the child support program as a Child Support Clerk in 1997, moved into a Child Support Supervisor role in 2006 and was promoted to Program Coordinator in 2009. In 2012, JeTaunne took over the day to day program management of a 3 year, $5.4 million dollar Pathways to Responsible Fatherhood Grant awarded to Milwaukee County and was promoted to Community Programs and Grant Manager.

JeTaunne has extensive involvement with community-based activities including the Annual Fatherhood Summit, the Martin Luther King Back to School Event, the Bi-annual VA Stand Down, various Correctional Institution Resource Fairs, the King Center’s Pre-Father’s Day Cookout and the Social Development Commission’s Resource Fair. All of these various activities encourage non-custodial parents to see child support as a resource to address their issues as opposed to “just another faceless government program”.

She has made countless contributions within the child support organization and continues to work on many committees and workgroups.
