It will do little for America . It is going to Louisiana to be refined & off-shored to other countries.
-I thought our greater independence was coming from fracking. ( ???)
-What happened to the predictions of $1.50 gasoline as a benefit of fracking ?
So says the immoral idiot that represents corporate cash in our government.
The Keystone has nothing to do with American energy. It is designed to move the toxic tar sands crude from Alberta to Gulf Coast refineries for export. This garbage has been coming thru Wis pipelines for a number of years. The U.S. should have told Canada at the beginning that we would not accept this crap across the border and that they should refine it at the field. We are taking all the risk for nothing. In 2011, the Kalamazoo River in Michigan was hit with a 40,000 gal pipeline spill of this garbage. Enbridge spent $1 billion plus trying to clean it up but it’s impossible to get it all.
Fantastic news! Great to see the American energy industry moving forward (finally!) under the new Administration.
