Summerfest Announces Luke Bryan to Headline the American Family Insurance Amphitheater Thursday, June 29

Luke is a two-time Academy of Country Music and Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year.

MILWAUKEE (February 6, 2017) – Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. officials are excited to announce that country music superstar Luke Bryan with special guests Brothers Osborne will play Summerfest’s 50th on June 29.

Luke is a two-time Academy of Country Music and Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year. He has hosted the ACM Awards for four consecutive years. Since the debut of his first album in 2007 he has placed 17 singles at No.1, sold over 10 Million albums, sold more than 40 million tracks with three billion music streams. His Platinum-selling fifth studio album, Kill The Lights, debuted at No. 1 on both the Billboard Top 200 (his third to do so)and Top Country Albums charts, and contains five consecutive No 1 hits – so far.

Luke’s concert tours have consistently sold out shows across North America including many NFL Stadiums like the Patriot’s Gillette Stadium where he played back-to-back sold out concerts last summer. Luke has also sold out Chicago’s Soldier Field, Cleveland’s First Energy Stadium, the AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Denver’s Sports Authority Field at Mile High, Ford Field in Detroit, home of the Vikings at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh’s Heinz Field, and Levi Stadium in San Francisco. In the last three years, Luke has performed to nearly five Million fans on tour.  On May 5, Luke will launch a brand new tour, “Huntin’ Fishin’ And Lovin’ Every Day Tour,” kicking off in Music City at Bridgestone Arena.

Luke has become a staple at Summerfest presented by American Family Insurance where he has sold out all three of his previous headlining performances.  Summerfest is thrilled to have him back to take part in the 50th celebration.

Special guests Brothers Osborne join Luke Bryan on his summer tour. The Nashville based duo’s debut single, “Let’s Go There,” appeared in 2013, followed by the single “Rum” in 2014. A year later, they released a re-recorded version of their EP track “Stay a Little Longer.” It reached the Top 40 on Billboard’s U.S. Hot Country Songs chart. It has become their third consecutive top 40 country hit, and their first top 10 single.  The album’s fourth single, “It Ain’t My Fault” was released to country radio on January 17, 2017.

Tickets for Luke Bryan’s show go on sale Friday, February 17 at 10:00 am CST and include Summerfest admission. Tickets can be purchased at the Summerfest Box Office in person and by phone at 1.414.273.2600, Ticketmaster Ticket Centers, Walmart stores, online at Ticketmaster.com and by phone at 1.800.745.3000 (live Ticketmaster Agent) or 1.866.448.7849 (“Ticketmaster Express” automated phone line).  Patrons may also utilize “ticketfast” at Ticketmaster.com to print barcoded concert tickets from home.  Convenience fees may be added to all purchases.
