Supervisor Marcelia Nicholson to Hold Community Information Session January 20
She Invites All Residents of the 5th District to Learn and Discuss Proposed Repairs to Washington Park
Milwaukee County Supervisor Marcelia Nicholson will hold a town hall meeting at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, January 20 at the Washington Park Senior Center, 4420 W. Vliet St. to allow Washington Park residents to learn and discuss proposed upgrades to Washington Park. Members of the Milwaukee County Parks Department will be in attendance to discuss and answer questions about the proposal.
“I invite all residents of the 5th District to join me in discussing the proposed upgrades to Washington Park,” said Nicholson, vice-chair of the Parks, Energy, and Environment Committee. This is a great opportunity for all of us to learn more about the proposal and for our neighbors to be heard on this issue.
“Washington Park is a beautiful community treasure. It is important we come together and take proactive steps to properly maintain the park, so we can enjoy it for years to come.”
