Rep. Craig Thanks Secretary Gottlieb, Welcomes Incoming Secretary Ross

Madison, Wis. – Today, Representative David Craig (R-Town of Vernon), reacted to the news that Secretary Mark Gottlieb of the Department of Transportation (DOT) announced his resignation and that Governor Walker has chosen Dave Ross, the current Secretary of Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS), to serve as the new DOT Secretary. Rep. Craig, reacted to the news:
“I want to thank Secretary Gottlieb for his time serving at the Department of Transportation and I wish him the best in his future endeavors. Additionally, I welcome and congratulate incoming Department of Transportation Secretary Dave Ross. The Department of Transportation is in need of long-awaited fundamental reform and I hope Secretary Ross is up to that challenge. I look forward to working with officials of the DOT to ensure that Wisconsin taxpayers are getting their money’s worth going forward.”
Rep. Craig represents the 83rd Assembly District which is comprised of portions of Waukesha, Walworth, Racine and Milwaukee Counties.
