I am kind of suprised that those empty lots aren’t more coveted spots to build—being right next to the Third Ward and right by a ramp. Seems like it would be a highly visibile place for retail.
@Doug Well I’d say I-794 creates an environment not as conducive to development, though it can be alleviated to some extent with things like the streetscape (well at least I think it can). Plus it is possible the landowners haven’t been open to developing the properties.
