MCW to host renowned nutrition expert at heart health conference
Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn and Ann Esselstyn will present research findings, clinical recommendations and recipes based on the best-selling book Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease and documentary Forks Over Knives.
The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) will host Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease heart health conference on Monday, March 14, 2016 featuring nutrition expert, Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, and his wife and author, Ann Crile Esselstyn.
Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn and Ann Esselstyn will present research findings, clinical recommendations and recipes based on the best-selling book Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease and documentary Forks Over Knives. Dr. Esselstyn’s nutrition book promotes a plant-based, oil-free, low-fat and whole foods diet which has been followed by notable celebrities including Bill Clinton, Samuel L. Jackson and Michelle Pfeiffer. Dr. Esselstyn is a physician and researcher at the Cleveland Clinic Wellness Institute. Mrs. Ann Esselstyn has followed a plant-based diet for more than 31 years. Based on her experience, she published a cookbook containing over 125 recipes.

About the Medical College of Wisconsin
