2026 Best Colleges Report Names Mount Mary University Among Regional Leaders for Social Mobility, Educational Value

MILWAUKEE, WI – Mount Mary continues to lead educational institutions in the Midwest in providing a pathway to upward social mobility, according to the Best Colleges Report by U.S. News and World Report released today.
The publication rated the university among the top Midwest universities for its success in helping diverse and low-income students reach graduation. Mount Mary ranks among the region’s leading universities for social mobility, a measure that looks at the success of students who receive Pell Grants, including their six-year graduation rates. Since the category was introduced in 2020, the university has consistently earned recognition within the top three places.
The 2026-27 report also recognized Mount Mary among the top Midwestern universities, as well as top private universities and educational value for students. The university rose 10 places in the category of top regional universities since last year.
The recognition underscores Mount Mary’s focus on providing an affordable, transformative education that helps students build meaningful careers and make a lasting difference in their communities.
