    Thanks for this fascinating information… I live in the Charles Whitnall birtplace in Whitnall Knoll. I did what I felt was diligent research on the Whitnalls while taking a local history course at UWM in the 1980s. The info I found referred to Gordon Park area as the Gordon Farm in earlier days. I was concentrating on the Whitnalls and due to laziness/dumbness I never dug into the Gordon story. The local history course was taught by the then head of the Milwaukee County Historical Society and we felt that we had done some good research…Thank you for setting me straight.
