Where do you work and what makes your role awesome?

I coordinate the marketing and events at Central Standard Craft Distillery, which is perfect because I love the surrounding energy a group creates when they’re enjoying great cocktails with their favorite company.

What do you love most about Milwaukee?

How proud the city of Milwaukee is of their hometown. There are so many local businesses that help make Milwaukee unique and attractive that can be enjoyed at any season. I also love that the city completely explodes on a beautiful day– people flood to the lakefront, restaurant patios and rooftops are full, and sidewalks are busy with people soaking in the sun.

If you could create one thing in Milwaukee, what would it be?

Free public parking structures to bring more people to Milwaukee from our surrounding cities. We always say everything is 20 minutes from Milwaukee. The general feedback I hear from the suburbs that surround Milwaukee makes me assume people in the city have no problem driving out, but those who aren’t already here don’t seem to want to make the drive.

What local restaurant is at the top of your list?

My favorite foods include Wisconsin brats and cheese, so naturally, Milwaukee Brat House happens to be my go-to. Otherwise, the Cleveland Pub & Grill in New Berlin is my all-time favorite.

What is your favorite Milwaukee tradition?

Visiting Bradford Beach on a cooler summer day so I can take up a large spot and listen to the waves and summer sounds in a peaceful bliss. In the winter, visiting Red Arrow Park is a definite must!

What’s your favorite hidden gem or secret fact about the city?

What do you think is going to be a game changer for the city in the year of 2019?

It will be interesting to see how much the streetcar changes public transportation and traffic flow. I think the Fiserv Forum will make a huge impact on tourism and night life this next year with all the possibilities it creates for Milwaukee.
