Much better use than a laudromat! (Which it was years ago). The old building had a huge lot and I think this actually does fit the neighborhood well. Time will tell though as the commercial tenants may be national chains (which will detract from the charm of Brady St).

I feel sad for the coffee house on the west side of this new building for vets. It was and is an iconic place to meet for them and us and grab a cup of joe. Now you can barely see it with is monstrosity in the way.

The coffee house is unique in that it brings people together, it had fun outdoor seating, and made use of the area around it. Mot of that got cut off as the new building got put up and access to it was restricted from the east when walking or getting off the bus.

Progress is great, even necessary, yet at what cost to shops like this.
