  1. John Wamser says:

    Always great articles!

  2. Jerry says:

With the average woman having 4-6 abortions (as birth control) in her lifetime, we are committing “human” race suicide. Greed and immoral ways always backfire.

  3. Steve G says:

As it happens, I grew up in that house pictured leading this article. The one with the American Flag hanging off the front porch (931 E. Auer).

My parents, both Polish Catholics with 15 siblings of their own between them, raised 6 ‘lower DNA’ children in this house!

And this 4th born of those married a beautiful German women with ‘superior genes’ 40 years ago with children and grandchildren of our own.

The ‘legacy’ of a ‘Eugenics Champion’ like Auer just reeks of irony and is most amusing to me.

And now low birth rate Germany has to ‘import’ migrants from North Africa & the Middle East.

    Whose committing ‘race suicide’ now?

  4. Tom D says:

Jerry (post 3), do you have a source for your claim that the average woman has 4-6 abortions during her lifetime???

Here is a source that says something VERY different, that the average woman averages less than 0.5 abortions over their lifetimes.

    https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/65/ss/ss6512a1.htm

According to the CDC, there are roughly 5 times as many births as abortions, so the average woman would have to have 20-30 children to have that many abortions.

  5. Observor says:

Think of all the babies aborted whenever Jerry masturbates.

  6. It is good to have a little more detailed articles about the people for whom the streets are named.Howell avenue used to be known as Howells road.Who was he??

  7. Penrod says:

Was Auer a Progressive? I associate the Progressives with the Eugenics Movement.

I suppose if the eugenics movement was to arise again with the intention of ridding society of the feeble-minded, they’d want to start by forcibly sterilizing Republicans.
