In listing the previous bars that were located here, you left out the Sanctuary (1996 I believe), Milwaukee’s first “goth” bar. There were church pews and a candle lit altar. Not sure how long it lasted.
Thanks for all the history and research, Michael Horne (especially about the Odd Fellows!). The Bottle seems like an appropriate name for a tavern!
Who could forget Slammers…That place was a blast. T-Bone does a great job here. Great place for work functions.. Check it out!
