WOW, Over $1200 for a studio with a few $20 USB outlets. That’s only $200 bucks more than our entire duplex in Riverwest which only had a 12 year mortgage after we rolled the remodel in that included USB outlets, granite counters and new open concept living space. Maybe the Studio is over 2000 square foot not counting the basement, the yard, and two car garage.
Sorry, I just don’t get it but than again I think the building is butt ugly too. I’m probably just tasteless.
I agree with Tom B. one the price. $1100 a month for 2000q ft, two car attached garage, full finished basement, let and a half in Brown Deer, and I’m only 20 minutes from the east side. I know that Im getting old, but when I was growing up, rent was to be only 25% of your total income.
Where are the affordable apartments? Who can afford those rents. It may be in a good area with access to different activities and events…the price point just doesn’t allow people making under $30,000 a year a place to live which isn’t a dump or in a bad neighborhood. Especially those needing public transit.
Not everyone wants to go to the few low income buildings in the city and some people make just above those guidelines to even qualify.
How about making more affordable h8using which is really truly affordable. Not jacked up claiming to be affordable.
