Everyone likes food. Everyone likes biking. So what happens when you put food and biking together — a messy bike ride? Nope, you get the Tour De Outpost – Ride 45.
Outpost Natural Foods is hosting a 45-mile bike ride to commemorate its 45th year anniversary. The ride will have stops at all four of its locations from the Bay View store (2826 S. Kinnickinnic Ave.), to 7000 W State St., to 7590 W Mequon Rd., to 100 E Capitol Dr. and then back to Bay View. Each of the stops will include goodie bags, local bites and beverages. There will also be a lunch at the Mequon store and a prize drawing at 3 p.m. at Outpost in Bay View.
The ride is on September 26. Check-in begins at 7 a.m. and the ride starts at 8 a.m. Lunch will take place from 11 a.m. to noon. Post-ride celebrations with beer and live music will be at Outpost in Bay View from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Birthday cake will also be served at 2:30 p.m.
Registration costs are $10 for individual riders and $20 for families of riders. Registration includes all of the food and fun outlined above.
