Absolutely wonderful sausage sandwiches and a good bar. Mediocre limp french fries. If you are looking for a balanced lunch, this is not the place. Absolutely nothing green is available — no coleslaw, no lettuce, no tomatoes, no salads, not even a big pickle — you get the idea. A few pickled cactus strips on one of the sandwiches is the closest you can get to something green. No fruit of any kind in the restaurant, either. Maybe a maraschino “cherry” in a cocktail? No soups, either. Just amazing sausage sandwiches, full stop. (No sweets, either, but there is a dessert cafe right next door.)
