The Harp is one of the last great true taverns. Spent way too much time there in the 80’s listening to Bernie growl and punch the bar. True aficionados know that a crew of tramp miners-with names like Badger and Suitcase- lived upstairs in the mid 80’s where the only heat was a propane stove and the floor lay at about a 20degree pitch.
You haven’t lived until you open the Harp at 6AM. As we used to say, “Home is where the Harp is.”
