Originally the planting of the center island was designed to highlight, not obscure the residence. To the right of the island can be seen the septic system which stores the George family's wastes until it can be hauled away. This area is not served by the MMSD. Lack of sewerage service greatly limits the density of population here, hence 3-acre lakefront lots.
