The Rep’s Colorful Production of “Christmas Carol”

It’s a big, atmospheric production, with lots of Christmas Carols, the return of actor Christopher Donahue as Scrooge and the return of Aaron Posner as director. Last week Matthew Reddin gave the inside story on the new production of the Milwaukee Rep’s “A Christmas Carol.” The show, according to Milwaukee Journal Sentinel critic Mike Fischer, boasts an “excellent, musically gifted cast…each of these characters feel less like a Dickensian type than a flesh and blood person.”
