Cheese, Beer and Thou

Glorioso's Italian Market eschews wine and does a Cheese & Beer Tasting. The result: lots of fun.

Wisconsin’s vibrant artisanal food and beverage culture was celebrated when Glorioso’s Italian Market, 1011 E Brady Street, held a Wisconsin Cheese & Beer Tasting Thursday, November 8th 2012. The family-owned and operated business has taken advantage of its spacious home to host a number of food and beverage related events. In the past there have been Cheese & Wine Tastings, but the beer event was its first. The wine crowd is different from the beer crowd, it seems, with the beer folks a little more “chill,” as one staffer put it. Cheesemakers were paired with brewers at tables throughout the store, offering suggested cheese-beer taste combinations, with some delightful surprises.
