I’m Not a Pilot
This week's Cream City Soundcheck debut features Milwaukee indie pop quartet I'm Not a Pilot.
I’m Not A Pilot has been entertaining audiences in Milwaukee with their breezy piano-driven indie pop since their inception in 2009. Since then, the band has gone on to win countless awards in the local press, play high-profile venues both locally and nationally and self-release a full length album, 2010’s Need Money for Rocket Fuel. Their unique lineup of piano, cello, bass and drums has been winning over audiences since the album’s release.
Just a few weeks away on Thursday, Sept. 13, TCD, docUWM, Peck School of the Arts (celebrating its Year of the Arts) and the Pabst Group will host the Cream City Soundcheck Celebration at Turner Hall Ballroom. The event will feature live performances from RAS Movement (feat. Naima Adedapo), The Fatty Acids, and Kane Place Record Club. The evening also features screenings of videos with Maritime, YACHT, Paul Cebar, I’m Not A Pilot, Mortgage Freeman, Holy Shit!, and Kings Go Forth.
