Pabst Theater, Point Fish Fry and a Flick
Tiffany Coris and Andy Nelson of the Pabst Theater look ahead to this year's Point Fish Fry and a Flick.
Milwaukee’s lakefront is one of the great assets the city has, and many of us don’t get the chance to see it every day. Just to drive by it is almost a miracle for your soul.
The great lakefront is just one of the reasons I always enjoy Point Fish Fry and a Flick. The other of course is that I love movies, but with the way the folks at the Pabst Theater, Riverside Theater and Turner Hall Ballroom have helped put this event together, there’s even more to love than enjoying a great movie outside with your friends.
I recently sat down with Andy Nelson and Tiffany Coris from the Pabst Theater to talk about this year’s Fish Fry and a Flick festivities, which begins August 10 with Zoolander and runs through September 7, ending with hometown favorite Major League. We also talked about another recent movie-related event that the Pabst helped put on, Lebowski Fest, which brought more than 5,000 people to watch The Dude in Cathedral Square Park.
