Downtown-Milwaukee-Trolley

There are a few ways to really enjoy the sights of our fair city at this time of year — from boat cruises to festivals to walking tours, Milwaukee’s rust-belt charm really shines. But if you want to tour the historic streets of downtown, there’s no better way than by trolley. With views of grandiose theaters, sunny parks and even the cobbled streets of a bygone era, narrated by a knowledgeable driver at a fine price of just one dollar (and tickets are good all day long), a trip along the Trolley Loop is a summertime activity every Milwaukee should experience at least once.

TCD sent intrepid photo intern Sarah Weiss along for the ride, where she captured families, pedal taverns and a little bit of Milwaukee history.
