Riverwest welcomed hundreds of bikers to the annual Rockerbox street fest and bike show this weekend, celebrating Milwaukee’s diverse motorcycling culture — beyond the limits of Harley-Davidson.

Seven blocks of the neighborhood’s main drag on Center Street were devoted to motorcycles of every size, shape, color and price range you can imagine. Ultra-sleek Ducatis, rough-and-tumble rat bikes, vintage sidecars, putt-putt scooters and road cruisers that ride like luxury sedans all rumbled through the streets.

Motor bikes, pedal-powered cycles and their accompaniments were splayed out on lawns and storefronts down the strip as mechanics, hardcore racers and weekend enthusiasts talked shop and showed off their iron.
