LeavingtheringLeaving the Ring: A Clown’s Last Day on Earth, Alchemist Theatre, 12/15-16
Alchemist presents a one-man performance piece that tells the story of an old clown who is about to “take his last bow on the earth,”  utilizing poetry, stories and bits from his old routine.

Fourth annual Young Playwrights Festival, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, 12/17-20
Three short plays written by the winners of Milwaukee Chamber Theatre’s Young Playwrights competition will premiere during this year’s festival. Time To Go, Sweetheart (by Kevin Rodgers of Menomonee Falls High School), Astray the Sun (by Charles Howard Sellars of Homestead High School), and A Brother’s Goodbye (by Samantha Goodwin of Rufus King IB High School).
All performances at the Broadway Theatre Center, 158 N. Broadway. For ticket information, call the box office at 414-291-7800.

Annie, Milwaukee Theatre, 12/18-19
The 30th anniversary tour of Annie makes a stop at the Milwaukee Theatre. With music by Charles Strouse, Annie is again directed by lyricist Martin Charnin with new set design by Ming Cho Lee.

Youth choirs at the Pfister Hotel, Pfister Hotel marble staircase, 12/14-18
The Pfister hosts several area youth choirs offering up holiday fare, including singers from Riley Elementary School, Frank Lloyd Wright Intermediate School, Northwest Lutheran, Whitefish Bay Middle School and North Shore Middle School.
