Statement from Democratic Party Chair on the Passing of Richard Grobschmidt

Rick was a champion for Wisconsin families in both the State Assembly and later in the State Senate.

MADISON – Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Martha Laning released the following statement in light of the passing of Richard Grobschmidt:

Democrats across the state were saddened to hear of the passing of Rick Grobschmidt yesterday. Rick was a champion for Wisconsin families in both the State Assembly and later in the State Senate. He was a dedicated public servant who never stopped working to improve the lives of those in his community, and his service to Wisconsin will not be forgotten.  Our thoughts, prayers, and heartfelt condolences go out to his entire family.
