Speaker Vos Statement on State of the State Address
"We have cut taxes by nearly $5 billion, reduced the size of government and established a business climate that fosters economic growth."
Madison…Speaker Robin Vos (R-Rochester) released the following statements in regards to Governor Walker’s seventh State of the State Address.
“The state of the state is great and should make everyone proud. We have so much to brag about: our economy is strong, more people are working than ever before, we have excellent schools and Wisconsin is simply an amazing place to call home.
“In the past six years under Republican leadership, we have made significant reforms to improve our state and the lives of our citizens. We have cut taxes by nearly $5 billion, reduced the size of government and established a business climate that fosters economic growth.
“I look forward to working with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to build upon our successes and find long-term solutions to the issues facing our state.”
The 63rd Assembly District includes the communities of Rochester, Burlington, Town of Burlington, Yorkville, Dover, Union Grove, Mount Pleasant, Sturtevant.
