The weather’s getting cool, but the welcome couldn’t be warmer at St. Ann Center’s free Indoor Winter Market. More than 25 vendors will fill the Center’s spacious atrium at 2801 E. Morgan Ave. every Saturday, November 12 through April 29, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Shoppers can take their pick from a fresh selection of organic produce and meats, jams, jellies and soups, handmade arts and crafts, soaps, lotions and seasonal decor. One-of-kind jewelry designed and handcrafted by Sister Edna Lonergan, president of St. Ann Center, will also be available for purchase. Her unique collection includes bracelets, rings, earrings, necklaces and more.

To start the season off on a healthy note, flu shots and cholesterol screenings will be available at the first indoor market, November 12. Flu shots are covered by Medicare, Medicaid and Humana Insurance, and cost $20 for those without insurance. Free blood pressure checks will also be offered.

The market is wheelchair accessible throughout, with plenty of nooks to sit and relax while enjoying a cup of coffee. Beverages, snacks and homemade baked goods will be sold by vendors and the St. Ann Center Marketplace Cafe.

Special events during the indoor market season include:

  • a chili and vintage jewelry sale on November 19,
  • pictures with Santa & free gift wrapping on December 17,
  • Valentine’s Day card-making on February 11,
  • vintage jewelry and chili spring sale on March 18,
  • pictures with the Easter Bunny on April 15
  • a rummage sale on the closing day, April 29.

Vendors interested in participating in the Winter Indoor Market should call Yolanda at (414) 977-5063 or email her at yolandaart@stanncenter.org. To keep up on the latest market happenings visit facebook.com/sacfm.
