Alderman Davis to host three town hall meetings next week

Alderman Joe Davis, Sr. is holding three town hall meetings next week in an effort to meet with residents and to discuss issues affecting the 2nd Aldermanic District and the City of Milwaukee.

The three town hall meetings will all take place between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1, Wednesday, September 2, and Thursday, September 3 in the following school auditoriums:

  • Tuesday: Morse-Marshall, 4141 N. 64th St.
  • Wednesday: James Madison Academic Campus, 8135 W. Florist Ave.
  • Thursday: Carmen Middle/High School of Science and Technology, 5496 N. 72nd St.

“I encourage all residents to attend the meeting that best fits their schedule,” Alderman Davis said. “This is an opportunity to address our neighborhood’s most pressing issues.”

City department representatives, including representatives from the Milwaukee Police Department, will be on hand to answer questions and discuss issues. Topics likely to be discussed include crime, sanitation, foreclosure prevention, recycling and neighborhood development.
