Farm to Urban Kitchen. Bring together great chefs with fresh, local produce and meats and you’ve got the makings of something delicious. In this unique series, our chefs will introduce you to some of the incredible organic and natural foods from local farms and create unique dishes using those ingredients. Each 1.5 hour presentation and full-course lunch is held at the Mason Street Grill Chef’s Counter, adjacent to The Pfister Hotel.

One of the most misunderstood vegetables, the beet is rarely at the top of anyone’s favorite veggie list. Well, Chef Michael Sawin will do his part to remedy that! Using beautifully colored, locally grown, organic beets, Chef Sawin will take you on a fascinating culinary excursion into the tremendous flavor, variety, and versatility of these colorful vegetables.
