In a lightning-fast vote early Friday, AB 11 passes 51-17, with 4 Republicans voting against. In Illinois, the senators are staying put.

2011 Fat Tire Tour of Milwaukee

In keeping with the tradition of Fat Tire Tour of Milwaukee fighting for the little guy, or at least the skinny guy with a lot of makeup, it is honoring Pee Wee and Pee Wee’s Big Adventure for Fat Tire Tour of Milwaukee XXVII. After all it was and still is the greatest cycling movie ever made. It was seminal in the early FTTM years. Capital Improvements Committee Meeting

The Capital Improvement Committee is tasked to develop, maintain, and update a long-term capital improvements program for the City’s construction and maintenance of its infrastructure and facilities. It is made up of the Commissioner of Public Works; the Department of Administration – Budget and Management Director; the Comptroller; the chair of the Public Works Committee; the chair of the Finance and Personnel Committee; the Common Council President; and a public member appointed by the Mayor. All except the public member may name an alternate. The public member is subject to Common Council confirmation to a three-year term.
