Young Democrats of Wisconsin Excited to Host Democratic Primary Forum for State Treasurer
On Tuesday, July 21th, the Young Democrats of Wisconsin and the 3rd CD Democrats of Wisconsin will host the only Democratic Primary Forum for Wisconsin State Treasurer. Both Democratic candidates Dylan Helmenstine and Yee Leng Xiong will be participating. The forum will be moderated by Young Democrats of Wisconsin Chair Jake Williams. The forum is being hosted to give Democratic voters an opportunity to hear from both candidates and make decisions about who should run in the General Election against Republican John Leiber.
Young Democrats of Wisconsin Chair Jake Williams released the following statement:
“An informed electorate is the foundation of a healthy democracy. The Young Democrats of Wisconsin are proud to partner with the 3rd Congressional District Democrats to provide voters with an opportunity to hear directly from both Democratic candidates for State Treasurer. We are committed to ensuring Democratic voters have access to the information they need to make an informed decision in the primary election by holding an in-person forum in La Crosse, Wisconsin and streamed virtually. I appreciate both candidates for participating in this forum and engaging directly with Wisconsin voters.”
