WMSE’s Local/Live Summer Concert Series with The Rashita Joneses

Broadcasting from Club Garibaldi on Tuesday, July 14

By - Jul 1st, 2015 10:20 am

Tune in to 91.7FM at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, or stop by Club Garibaldi, at 5:30 p.m. for an incredible live radio experience with The Rashita Joneses. Self-described as, “from the bottom of the barrel these maws are scuzzy rockers. With killer bass lines, catchy riffs and all out vocals, The Rashita Joneses are sure to make vibrations that please.” Together for just less than four seasons the band put out their debut EP this last March, toured relentlessly around the Midwest, released a split cassette with locals Filter Free Rodeo, and dropped a 7-inch.  The Rashita Joneses are the perfect addition to WMSE’s Local/Live concert series taking place at Club Garibaldi, 2501 S. Superior St.

WMSE’s Music Director Erin Wolf and Cal Roach will host the live radio segment and show where fans and attendees are encouraged to participate in the interview with their own questions. The Rashita Joneses will perform songs in between interview questions. Once the programming is finished, the band will give fans an additional 30-minute set of live music.

This will be a terrific night of music and fun for WMSE listeners and local music fans. Be there, live, at Club Garibaldi or simply stream (live or in the archives) at WMSE.org or tune in to 91.7FM WMSE at 6 p.m.  This show is free but you must be 21+ to attend.
