[Madison, WI] – Following U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai’s event in Stoddard today, the Republican Party of Wisconsin released the following statement from Chairman Andrew Hitt:
“Today’s visit from Katherine Tai is a consolation prize for Ron Kind after Joe Biden’s embarrassing bait-and-switch on Wisconsin farmers. Unfortunately for Kind, no amount of surrogate visits can rewrite his record of helping block the USMCA while family farms were lost. Ron Kind is a card-carrying member of the DC elite, and he no longer works for the people of western Wisconsin.”

- The USMCA was signed in 2018, but Ron Kind stood by Nancy Pelosi as she dragged her feet on the historic trade agreement, calling her the “gatekeeper.”
