WisDems Congratulates Democratic Congressional and Legislative Nominees
MADISON, Wis. — Following yesterday’s primary election, WisDems Chair Devin Remiker released the following statement:
“In races across the state yesterday, Wisconsin Democrats proved that they are excited and ready to flip congressional districts and the Wisconsin Legislature blue by electing candidates up and down the ballot who are committed to ending the Republican cost crisis and delivering for working people.
“This is a historic moment for our state: We are on the cusp of having a blue trifecta for the first time since 2008, we can help win the US House races needed to take back the majority and provide a check on the Trump administration, and we have the chance to secure a progressive majority through 2028. We will be working tirelessly everyday through November to defeat Republican candidates and the billionaires dumping money into their campaigns.”
