Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs partners with MKE Urban Stables for Milwaukee Area Veterans

MADISON – Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs (WDVA) is holding a special veterans night with MKE Urban Stables, 143 E. Lincoln Avenue, Milwaukee, on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. This unique event is part of an ongoing effort in partnership with MKE Urban Stables for Milwaukee area veterans to connect and build community with one another in an informal setting.

“I am excited to see WDVA creating community partnerships that bring our Milwaukee area veterans together,” said WDVA Secretary-designee James Bond. “Creating these veteran community opportunities with local organizations like MKE Urban Stables are vital to building camaraderie and supporting mental health for our state’s veterans.”

There is no cost to attend this event and tours around the stables will be offered to anyone interested in learning more about their program. Light refreshments will also be provided.
