WEAC Press Release on recommendation of Rep Meyers

By - Jul 14th, 2020 01:15 pm

The Wisconsin Education Association Council recommends LaKeshia Myers for State Assembly District 12.

In recommending Representative Myers, WEAC President Ron “Duff” Martin said, “Assembly District 12 continues to need a representative that listens to all of its constituents, and the needs that they have. She will advance education equity and support public schools across Wisconsin.”

WEAC members, teachers and education support professionals employed in Wisconsin Public Schools, believe in engaging in the political process because every aspect of public education is impacted by elected officials.
