After 272 Days, More COVID Relief Is Needed
MADISON – Senator Jon Erpenbach (D-West Point) released the following statement on Assembly Bill 1:
“Republicans have refused to do their job over the last nine months while thousands of Wisconsinites have lost their lives to this virus. This cannot be the last bill the legislature takes up to address COVID-19 relief. Republicans are out-of-touch with how severely this pandemic is impacting our state, and their inability to govern during this crisis has shown that. Democrats will continue to fight for meaningful and tangible solutions to help our overworked health care providers, families dealing with financial hardships, and essential workers who put their health at risk every single day.”
