Vukmir Staffs Up For General Election Battle Against Baldwin

"These additions to my team with significant Wisconsin experience will give us additional fire-power in exposing Two-Faced Tammy for the hypocrite she is."

Brookfield, Wis. — A week after winning the Republican nomination, Leah Vukmir continues to build on her momentum by adding Kirstin Hopkins as her Wisconsin fundraising consultant and Jahan Wilcox as communications director.

Hopkins has over a decade of fundraising experience, including serving as Sen. Ron Johnson’s finance director. Wilcox has been a part of many winning campaigns, most recently Gov. Doug Burgum in North Dakota and Sen. Joni Ernst in Iowa, in addition to previously being a member of Gov. Tommy Thompson’s 2012 U.S. Senate campaign.

“Sen. Baldwin has already spent $5 million in commercials, and her first general election ad went negative. These additions to my team with significant Wisconsin experience will give us additional fire-power in exposing Two-Faced Tammy for the hypocrite she is,” Leah said. “From our campaign manager, Jess Ward, to everyone who was part of our historic primary victory, we have the team necessary to win in November.”

Leah Vukmir is a nurse, military mom and the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate who is running to bring the Wisconsin Way to Washington. She currently serves as a state senator from Brookfield.

Adolescent name calling has worked for Trump, but I do not see it working for Vukmir. If she wants to run as a nurse and a mom, she should refer to her opponent as Senator Baldwin.
