Vendors being sought for 3rd annual Back to School Festival
Alderman Mark Chambers, Jr. is asking interested service provider vendors to consider applying to be a part of the 2025 Back to School Festival, which will be held at Indigenous People’s Park, 7301 W. Courtland Ave. on Sunday, August 24 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Last year, the Back to School festival drew more than 4,000 attendees as families sought to prepare for the school year. The festival included a variety of family-friendly activities, free food, entertainment, as well as giveaways of school supplies and a limited number of bicycles.
Alderman Chambers is looking to build on the success of the 2024 festival. “As we continue our mission to support as many families as possible, we are seeking service provider vendors to connect attendees with pertinent and helpful information, resources, and services to help ensure student preparation for the start of the school year,” said Alderman Chambers. “I invite interested service providers to join us as a vendor for this year’s Back to School Festival.”
Those interested in participating are encouraged to contact Alderman Chambers’ office via email at aide2@milwaukee.gov, or by calling 414-286-3777.
