UPDATE – MCSO Responds to Fatal Crash
The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the crash
Milwaukee, WI ( August 5, 2019) On Monday, August 5, at approximately 11:07 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a one-vehicle collision on westbound I-94 just west of 16th St. and the 25th St. off-ramp. Lanes 4 and 5 were temporarily closed to accommodate the emergency response.
The sole occupant of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at a local hospital. The decedent has been identified as 71-year-old Gustave Roy Sorenson of Sturtevant, and notification has been made to Mr. Sorenson’s next of kin.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday, August 6.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the crash.
