U.S. Cellular Business Tech Tour Bringing Shark Tank’s Robert Herjavec to Milwaukee
Herjavec will hold a fireside chat and audience Q&A discussing the impact technology can have on enhancing operations for Wisconsin businesses.
Milwaukee (Oct. 8, 2019) – U.S. Cellular announced today it will once again bring its Business Tech Tour to Milwaukee. This year the free event, held on Oct. 29 at Discovery World, will focus on the Internet of Things (IoT), 5G and innovations in business technology, with featured guest, business expert and “Shark Tank” investor Robert Herjavec.
On the heels of U.S. Cellular’s announcement about bringing 5G to Milwaukee and other parts of Wisconsin in 2020, Herjavec will hold a fireside chat and audience Q&A discussing the impact technology can have on enhancing operations for Wisconsin businesses.
Before the discussion with Herjavec, guests can experience interactive IoT demonstrations from several of U.S. Cellular’s IoT vendors and hear from Sam Samuel, CTO for the Mobility Business Group at Cisco Systems, on 5G and the future of connectivity.
“This event gives the Milwaukee business community the opportunity to learn from industry leaders like Herjavec about what IoT, 5G and recent innovations in business technology can bring to their day-to-day operations,” said Andy Schlingman, Director of Sales for U.S. Cellular’s Business Channel in Wisconsin. “At U.S. Cellular, we aim to be a trusted technology partner for our business and government customers, and help improve all of the communities we serve. We look forward to hearing from attendees about their technology goals and needs and showing them easy-to-implement tech solutions for all types of businesses.”
Robert Herjavec is a dynamic entrepreneur and one of the most recognizable business and innovation experts today. Founder & CEO of Herjavec Group, a global cybersecurity organization, and best-selling author, Herjavec shares his expertise with millions each week as a leading Shark on ABC’s hit show Shark Tank.
“Technology is constantly changing and ensuring your business is on top of the latest innovations is crucial,” said Robert Herjavec. “Through this dialogue with U.S. Cellular I’m looking forward to sharing my advice and tools for success because I believe anyone can succeed if they are willing to lean in and take action.”
