Track & Field Competes on Day One of BIG EAST Outdoor Championships Thursday
Day two begins Friday at 11 a.m. CT
STORRS, Connecticut – Marquette University track & field began action at the 2025 BIG EAST Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Thursday with multi events, the hammer throw, and 10,000 meter run.
“Very solid start to the championships,” Bert Rogers said. “The multis are all off to a very good start, the hammer crew all competed well and Logan ran a gutsy 10k on a warm humid evening. I’m excited to get back to it tomorrow!”Gus Kasun had a PR in the long jump at 6.87 meters in the decathlon.
Sebastian Kubas set a new PR in the hammer throw at 46.84 meters to finish fifth.
Megan White (44.95 meters) and Ally Broaddus (43.24 meters) finished ninth and 10th in the hammer throw.
Logan Goodman finished 12th in the 10,000 meter with a time of 32:00.09.
Day two of the 2025 BIG EAST Outdoor Championships begins Friday morning with decathlon events at 11 a.m. CT.
