Wauwatosa, Wisc. March 16, 2023 — The City of Wauwatosa is hosting its 2nd annual Tosa Restaurant Week (TRW), which runs March 23 through April 1, 2023 with a promise to indulge the palate for all who plan to attend. The 10-day event will draw residents and tourists alike to enjoy special dining offerings and limited-time creations from restaurants, bakeries and bars within its five districts, from West Tosa to the Village. “Wauwatosa is home to such diverse, locally-owned dining that Tosa Restaurant Week is a great time to head to your favorite spots, and then come back and try something new,” said Beth Gleesing, Tourism Specialist for the City of Wauwatosa, who spearheads the event.

One of the city’s most talked about events doubled in participation this year as local business owners are eager to share culinary and libation highlights. From breakfast to dinner, diverse indulgences will be available such as Mexican, Italian, Asian, French and Hawaiian, with a variety of high-end dining to grab-and-go options. Delicious Bites owner, Tomira White, who opened her doors in Wauwatosa earlier this month, is excited to participate in TRW. “The residents of Wauwatosa have been extremely welcoming these first couple of weeks that we’ve been open. I look forward to participating in Tosa Restaurant Week alongside some of Tosa’s most iconic establishments and introduce what Delicious Bites has to offer.”

Wauwatosa’s charm, walkability, diverse dining and entertainment options makes Tosa Restaurant Week ideal to explore and plan family nights, date nights, and girls’ nights. “Along with the other restaurants in the Wauwatosa Village, I am excited for Tosa Restaurant week. The entire City of Wauwatosa is a gem and destination for food and beverage. There is such a diverse variety of hospitality options throughout the city that celebrating with Tosa Restaurant Week is very appropriate,” said Chris Leffler, owner of Leff’s Lucky Town, a Wauwatosa staple.

Tosa Restaurant Week not only allows visitors to experience dining excellence, the culinary week allows patrons to support other walkable attractions like visiting local retailers and service-related businesses. During TRW, visitors can take in community art through Wauwatosa-based murals, and have a relaxing stay at one of the hotels.
