Tom Tiffany’s Right Wing Radio Ally Calls for Assassination of Minnesota Governor
MADISON, Wis. — Dan O’Donnell, who frequently features Wisconsin GOP gubernatorial candidate Tom Tiffany, was caught calling for the assassination of Governor Tim Walz, saying, “Now take out the Supreme Leader of Minnesota. We will be greeted as liberators.” Dan O’Donnell is no stranger to Tom Tiffany—Tom Tiffany chose Dan O’Donnell’s radio show to announce his bid for governor.
“Dan O’Donnell’s disgusting, direct call for political violence is unAmerican and Tom Tiffany’s close relationship with him shows just how extreme he is,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin spokesperson Emily Stuckey. “Tom Tiffany’s association with Dan O’Donnell and his blatant calls for political assassination, which TIffany has refused to call-out, is disqualifying, and a clear indicator that Tiffany is not fit to govern. Anything but a swift condemnation of O’Donnell’s post from Tom Tiffany is unacceptable—especially in the recent aftermath of the shootings of Minnesota legislators Melissa Hortman, John Hoffman, and their families.”
