WAUSAU, WI – Tom Tiffany released the following statement after David Crowley won the Democrat primary for governor:
“I’ve said all along that there’s not a dime’s worth of difference between these Democrat candidates, and David Crowley proved my point when he admitted there aren’t many policy differences between him and a socialist. His record in Milwaukee County shows exactly what Wisconsin would get: mismanage the government, run up the bill, and raise your taxes to pay for it. Wisconsin doesn’t need more of the same failed policies. I’m running to lower costs, restore accountability in Madison, and expand opportunity across our state.”

As usual, Tiffany picks up irrelevant sound bites to bolster his factually inaccurate portrayal of his own positions. Tiffany is nothing but an extreme right-wing MAGA candidate siding with every destructive impulse of Donald Trump, focused on reducing and eliminating social security and Medicare benefits for seniors, eliminating access to low-cost healthcare, and preventing working families from access to affordable housing. His vague reference to ensuring public school children can read at grade level does nothing to provide support and training for teachers to improve scores–he only wants to raise scores with no relation to why children are not reading up to grade level. Tiffany is totally clueless about the needs of real Americans. His ignorance and MAGA alignment could not be worse for now struggling Americans under this corrupt president.
