Tiffany Campaign Releases New Ad Highlighting David Crowley’s “Accomplice” Agenda for Illegal Immigrants
WAUSAU, WI – Today, the Tom Tiffany campaign released a new ad highlighting David Crowley’s own words and his record on illegal immigration.
Crowley has declared, “I’m not an ally. I’m an accomplice. I’m going to be with you no matter what.”
Crowley has said he does not see “any scenario” where he would work with immigration enforcement. He has promised driver’s licenses and taxpayer-subsidized in-state college tuition for illegal immigrants and said he would prevent law enforcement from asking about immigration status.
As Milwaukee County Executive, Crowley’s county government also lobbied in support of legislation that would have created taxpayer-funded grants for illegal immigrants.
“David Crowley told Wisconsin exactly where he stands: ‘I’m an accomplice,'” said Tom Tiffany. “He has promised to stand with illegal immigrants ‘no matter what,’ tie the hands of law enforcement, and hand taxpayer-funded benefits to people who are here illegally. David Crowley will turn Wisconsin into a sanctuary state that puts illegal immigrants ahead of Wisconsin citizens. As governor, I will enforce the law, back law enforcement, and always put the safety of Wisconsin families first.”
The ad features Crowley repeating “I’m an accomplice” between accounts of crimes involving illegal immigrants in Dane County, Fond du Lac County, and Milwaukee, including:
- In Dane County, a repeat drunk driver and illegal immigrant killed two teenagers.
- In Fond du Lac County, an illegal immigrant tied up and blindfolded a 12-year-old girl to rape her.
- In Milwaukee, a drunk illegal immigrant killed a Special Olympian on his way to church.
