The Salvation Army To Open New Thrift Store in Waukesha

Waukesha, WI – February 5, 2025 – The Salvation Army is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its newest Thrift Store in Waukesha on Friday, February 14, with a ribbon cutting at 9 a.m. Located at 2040 W. Bluemound Rd, Waukesha, WI 53186, this new location will welcome shoppers from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

This opening marks a significant return for The Salvation Army to the Waukesha community, reestablishing a presence after a decade-long absence and aims to provide affordable, quality merchandise to shoppers, while supporting The Salvation Army’s mission to assist those in need.

Shoppers can anticipate a wide selection of clothing, furniture, household items, and more. All purchases directly support The Salvation Army’s programs and services through our Adult Rehabilitation Center, located in Milwaukee, WI.

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) has been in operation for over 100 years, providing rehabilitation services to communities all across the US. The Salvation Army’s Adult Rehabilitation Center is a 180-day residential program providing spiritual, social, and emotional assistance to people who have lost the ability to cope with their problems and provide for themselves.

The Salvation Army provides services at no cost to the program participants and The Salvation Army receives no government funding to operate the program. As such, donations of clothing, household goods, etc. from the community are essential to ensuring the continued provision of services.

Gently used clothing and household goods can be dropped off at any Salvation Army Thrift Store. Donations are accepted during normal store hours, Monday through Saturday at our store locations.
